Japanese curtains are  also known as Japanese panels or blinds. They are increasingly common in home decor nowadays as they are modern and attractive. Japanese curtains are composed of several independent panels, attached to a rail system. When the curtains closed, the panels are folded, crossing each other as they would the ribs of a fan. They are ideal for rooms decorations with an oriental or asian theme in mind but they also go well with any modern style.
